Our Vision
We are dedicated to the raising of great quality show stock. Our goal is to produce, sell, and lease quality show cattle and help teach kids the characteristics of showing cattle and helping them continue to grow in agriculture. We proudly support local FFA and 4H chapters and events.
How We Started
While developing our farm we started with Registered Shorthorn cattle for our son to show. Well of course, what Texas farm doesn't have a Longhorn or two? We chose the beef Shorthorn breed for their durability, hardiness, ease of calving, docility and of course the Colors.
Who We Are
Hello from Moon Family Farm. We are a small operation in a small Texas town. The farm was established in 2016 by Eddie and Jennifer Moon when two lifelong Sulphur Springs natives got married and combined families. We are members of the American Shorthorn Association and highly promote local FFA and 4H chapters and events. We are also a member of Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
